Time Apart

“Time Apart” provides a window into the lives of young adults during quarantine and how they are affected during the Covid-19 pandemic. This project is featured on the cover and inside cover story of Time Magazine’s June Generation Pandemic Special Issue. An image from this project is also selected as one of Time’s Best Portraits of 2020.

For this collaborative body of work, I art-directed photo shoots of my friends over FaceTime during the first months of isolation. Together we conceptualized visuals to depict their experiences during the pandemic.
